Eric was born up the road from Columbus in Edinburgh, Indiana. His wife, Megan, was born and raised in Columbus, leading him to move to Columbus. Eric greatly values his family and time spent with them and expressed that he has led a very blessed life. He is also an avid sports fan and enjoys following the Colts, the Cincinnati Reds, Notre Dame football, Indiana University basketball, Bayern Munich, and the Indiana Pacers.

After spending 18 years working in the automobile business, Eric decided that he wanted to pursue a new path. He considered a career in insurance for a long time and after searching for the right opportunity, he found a home at Johnson-Witkemper Insurance in 2020. When choosing where to launch his new career, he searched for a company that shared a lot of the same core beliefs as he does; a company that cares about families and the community that they operate in– which he believes he found at Johnson-Witkemper Insurance. He appreciates that everyone at Johnson-Witkemper Insurance is willing to help to make sure that they provide the best service possible for their clients. He believes that they are a team and act as one.
